The Project ECHO Team
Hospice UK is planning to establish an ECHO Team, which will based in Belfast and provide strategic direction and support to the provision and implementation of the Project ECHO model throughout the UK.
ECHO, the Extension of Community Healthcare Outcomes is an established not-for-profit tele-mentoring project which was developed in the USA to improve care of patients in underserved areas. It involves the use of cloud based networking technology to connect with specialist ‘HUBS’ and ‘SPOKES’ to create a community of practice, sharing knowledge and which supports service delivery.
About the role
This post reports to the Programme Director and is responsible for the operational management to Project ECHO. The Project Manager will be expected to achieve a high quality service through the development and effective use of resources and securing performance through target setting, monitoring and reviewing systems.
