Our specialist policy designed for hospices allows our customers to choose the level and types of cover you need – with our specialist advisors there to offer advice and support where you need it. We insure over 40% of the UK’s independently owned hospices – meaning we have a wealth of experience and knowledge to be able to understand your specialists needs, not only in relation to insurance, but also risk management and prevention.
We understand that as a charitable organisation, fundraising is core to your business operations and survival. As part of our policy, most fundraising events will be automatically covered, at no additional cost, leaving you to worry about the organising, not the insurance! Simply speak to us to find out what you can do without making any changes.
If you are doing something a little less ordinary, we can also offer one-off cover for any event that is not already covered, and importantly this can include cover for cancellation, which is designed to protect any up-front investment made in organising the event.
We also understand that volunteers are hugely important to keep your hospice going. This is why we define an employee as both paid and volunteer members of staff, so full cover is extended in respect of Employer’s Liability cover.
