Hospice UK Retail Conference 2017 Hospice Retail – 'Reinvention or Revolution?'
Colleagues from across the hospice sector gathered for our Retail Conference on Thursday 27 April 2017 at Chesford Grange, Kenilworth in Warwickshire.
Hospice UK, with the support of our Retail Steering Group, held our one-day retail conference in April 2017. The conference was aimed at member hospices retail staff – Hospice Retail Directors/Managers, Area Managers, Shop Managers and is also suitable for Chief Executives.
The aim of the conference was to develop knowledge and good practice among hospice retailers; provide an opportunity for attendees to network and learn from colleagues’ experiences as well as hear from expert speakers from the industry.
The theme for our conference this year was ‘Hospice Retail – Reinvention or Revolution?’ reflecting that as competition and costs increase hospice retailers need to look for different approaches.
Speakers included Nick Aldridge from PayPal Giving Fund, Mike Taylor from British Heart Foundation, May Al-Karooni from Globechain and Lorna Fallon from Cats Protection. For the full list of speakers visit our speaker page.
Workshop sessions included:
