Hey peeps! How's it going?
Finding the perfect pub is a challenge for anyone, but it is a bit trickier for me. I have to lie down a lot, and it can be quite hard to talk to people when I’m in a busy student pub or bar. I’m not great at shouting!
But last Saturday night, Tina, my carer, and I found the loveliest little pub. It was a proper family pub. They even had a puppy! She was so adorable ... even if she did jump on my face and frighten the life out of Tina! There was a nice area at the back where I could lay down, and the staff were so accommodating and lovely. For me, the best thing about it was that I felt so relaxed!
We spent the afternoon catching up (I hadn't seen her properly for years!) with a drink and a puppy eating our mini cheddars – I’m so glad the landlord had to clean up after her and not us! It was a really great afternoon and I would have loved to have been able to stay longer.
I'm going again in a few weeks. I say a few weeks because, as you can probably tell, it's not easy for me to go out a whole lot. Not like most teenagers and young adults anyway. But that never means to say that it can't be done...
Speak to you sometime lovelies! x
