Membership of Hospice UK is open to UK organisations that provide or support hospice care.

Hospice UK membership offers various networking and peer support opportunities

Membership benefits

There are many benefits to being a member including:

Be part of the national voice for hospice care

Your organisation will be part of the national voice for hospice care. We provide national leadership by influencing the development of policy through working with the government, politicians, statutory bodies, other national organisations and partners, and many parts of the health and social care system.

Members of Hospice UK are able to get directly involved in our policy, influencing and advocacy work through participation in consultations, reference groups, advisory committees, etc.  We create opportunities for members to engage directly with external bodies such as government bodies and statutory regulators.

Staff from Hospice UK engage directly with members on the national issues which affect them, and also provide support in understanding the local impact of national policy changes.

Stay informed

Our regular e-newsletters for members provide easy access to the latest information and intelligence relevant to the hospice world.

Members of Hospice UK also benefit from numerous briefings, reports and guidance documents to assist hospice staff and trustees in keeping up to date with developments in the hospice sector, and the wider policy, political and health and social care arena. We publish case studies to support member hospices in sharing good practice, innovation and learning from each other.

Stay connected

Each network has its own programme of meetings and events to support and bring together members.
