What we’re looking for
Hospice UK, the national charity for hospice care, is looking for a driven and creative Senior Policy and Advocacy Officer to join our organisation. You will use your passion for equalities and your skills across research and influencing to drive forward our strategic goals.
Working with member organisations, parliamentarians, local government, policy makers, civil servants, commissioners and other key stakeholders, this post will play a key role in ensuring that Hospice UK effects change for people in need of hospice and palliative care, and the provision of such care.
Ideally you have experience in policy and influencing at local or national level, possibly in health or social care, or where equalities were central. You use your solid communication skills to build relationships and your analysis drives effective interventions. You’re focussed on finding solutions and driving the agenda forward. You’re collaborative, enthusiastic and user-centred.
