Senior Supporter Engagement Executive

Hospice UK is looking for a Senior Supporter Engagement Executive to join their Events and Supporter Engagement Team. The Events and Supporter Engagement team forms part of the wider Income Generation Department and works closely within and across the department.

The focus across the team is on raising funds from individuals through challenge and special events, giving in memory, legacy giving, regular and payroll giving, one off donations and community fundraising.

Hospice UK is the national charity for hospice care, supporting over 200 hospices in the UK. We believe that everyone matters throughout their life right up until they die, and that no one should die in avoidable pain or suffering. 

The Senior Support Engagement Executive will take general responsibility for increasing supporter engagement more widely across the income generation department with the overall aim of growing the income and long-term support from individuals.

The role will be responsible for excellent administration, stewardship and communications with our individual supporters, as well as the implementation and development of our legacy and in memory programmes. The role will manage our payroll giving programme and oversee the day-to-day management of our online shop.

The role will receive general support and direction from the Head of Events and Supporter Engagement but is expected to operate with a level of self-sufficiency and autonomy whilst cross working and integrating with colleagues across the charity, particularly in the fundraising team, to maximise income generation opportunities and cultivation of supporters across the department.

The successful candidate will have direct experience of delivering excellent supporter stewardship and developing supporter engagement. They will have good working knowledge of payroll giving, legacy marketing and processes related to legacy giving, as well as proven digital fundraising experience.
