Carduff, Dr Emma

Carduff EmmaDr Emma Carduff trained as a nurse at the University of Glasgow before moving south, where she worked at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London.

She then moved to Washington DC where she worked as a nurse at a busy inner-city hospital.

On her return to the UK, Emma settled for Edinburgh, where she embarked on a research career. She completed a Master’s degree in Public Health Research, then a PhD in research methods in palliative care research from the University of Edinburgh. She has since worked with the Primary Palliative Care Research Group at the University of Edinburgh on a post-doctoral project and is now Research Lead at Marie Curie Hospice, Glasgow. Emma is responsible for facilitating, managing and leading research activity and collaborates with academic colleagues in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
