Conference dinner and social events
If you haven’t done so already, don’t forget to register for the social events at Hospice UK’s national conference ‘Transforming Palliative Care’ (27- 28 November 2018) in Telford.
Take time out from the formal programme to relax with people from your workplace and to meet new colleagues from across the sector. Both events take place at the conference centre which is close to local hotels and offer convenient evenings out after which you can take a leisurely stroll back to your hotel.
Free drinks reception (18.00 -19.15 on 26 November)
Ideal for everyone staying overnight before conference starts early on 27 November – and an opportunity to hear from journalist and author, Kevin Toolis, who will also be available to sign copies of his book ‘My Father’s Wake’.
Conference dinner (19.30 – 23.00 on 27 November)
After a busy day at conference, relax over a three-course meal with wine and celebrate with the winners of this year’s Hospice UK Awards. Dinner tickets, which represent great value at £40 (incl VAT), can only be bought before conference no later than 9 November .
Dress code for the dinner is smart casual.
