NAPCE funded places at Hospice UK’s national conference
The National Association of Palliative Care Educators (NAPCE) was a membership organisation open to anyone with an interest in palliative care education.
As a result of changes in the way educators communicate and network, and the sustainability of the Association in the current climate, the Trustees dissolved the charity from 1 November 2018. The remaining funds have been donated to Hospice UK to support palliative care educators to attend Hospice UK’s national conference.
Who is eligible to apply for funding?
Anyone working in the field of palliative and end of life care education who:
- is attending conference for the first time;
- is employed by an organisation which is a member or subscriber of Hospice UK, or who is an individual subscriber.
An organisation can only make one successful application for funding.
How much funding is available?
Subject to availability, funding is available for three full conference places per year.
What does the funding cover?
Funding will cover the registration fee for 3 days attendance at the national conference. It won’t cover the cost of travel or accommodation.
What is the process?
Funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. If we receive more applications than available funding, the date of application will determine who receives funding.
