Social Worker - Family Support & Safeguarding

As part of the hospice’s crucial Family Support Team, you will provide social work to children, young adults up to the age of 35 years, their parents, carers and extended family. The role is varied and challenging involving direct work, case holding, crisis intervention and long term work with adults and children.

To work as part of the multi-disciplinary Family Support Team supporting children (0-18), young adults (18-35) and their families/carers where there are complex social issues. 

To provide appropriate social work support and interventions working in an integrated way with statutory and other external services.  To support with safeguarding practice within the organisation.
