Amy runs the London Marathon on a poignant anniversary

Amy Devine is taking on the London Marathon exactly a year to the day after her father passed away.

He received hospice care at St. Christopher's Hospice in London, where they did everything to support her dad and the family, transforming Amy's perceptions about hospice care in the process.

Amy admits that she thought that hospices were "dark, dingy places" before her dad was admitted to St. Christopher's, but was overwhelmed by the energy and happiness that she saw in the hospice.
"St. Christopher's was the most amazing place. The change in everything - the room, the atmosphere, was just incredible, and his emotional state was just so much happier."
