About this Community of Practice

The Dementia End of Life Care Community of Practice is a joint venture between Dementia UK and Hospice UK.

It brings together practitioners and clinical leaders via an interactive forum to build skills, knowledge and confidence in providing high quality palliative and end of life care for people affected by dementia and their families.

Community of Practice Meetings

The Dementia End of Life Care Community of Practice meetings take place quarterly and are facilitated by Dementia UK and Julia Russell, Senior Clinical and Quality Improvement Manager, Hospice UK.

We provide a curriculum of your choice via our Palliative and End of Life Care and Dementia ECHO Network. You can sign up or log in to see the meeting resources via the link below.

We work with members to agree topics and themes and invite an excellent range of speakers to share their knowledge and expertise. These may include experts in the field and colleagues from the Community of Practice.
