This half-day online training by ‘Time to Talk Befriending’ is aimed at professionals and other supporters, and is a chance to think about death and dying. It focusses on how we can help those we are supporting to talk about this difficult subject when they need to.
The course introduces a 'Guided conversation tool kit' helping us navigate this topic with the person we are supporting. It aims to increase awareness of when someone needs to discuss their mortality, factors affecting how they approach their death, and provide understanding, skills, and confidence in responding.
