Press release template
As Dying Matters and Hospice UK, we'll be putting out a press release this year to national media about Dying Matters Awareness Week.
But if you're holding an event, or promoting Awareness Week yourself, you can use our handy template to send to your local and regional press.
Animated film
This year, we're creating a short animated film featuring honest, touching accounts from three people:
- Patricia, who has an incurable illness, and is being cared for by North London Hospice
- Mumtaz, whose husband Rashik died from kidney cancer
- Lucy, who is a Palliative Medicine Consultant and this year's Dying Matters expert.
Using their personal experiences, the film explores their approaches to language at the end of life.
The film will be released here, and on our social media channels, on the morning of Monday 6th May.
