Hospice UK is the national charity working for those experiencing dying, death and bereavement. We work for the benefit of people affected by death and dying, collaborating with our hospice members and other partners who work in end of life care.

We believe that everyone, no matter who they are, where they are or why they are ill, should receive the best possible care at the end of their life.

As Project Support Officer the successful candidate will have operational responsibilities and opportunities in relation to Hospice UK’s ECHO networks, the networks delivered from our Belfast Office and in supporting our ECHO Immersion training delivered virtually throughout the UK.

While based from the Hospice UK Office in London the candidate will also be involved closely with the project team in Belfast and with the ECHO Institute in Albuquerque.  The ECHO methodology demonstrates “everyone a teacher, everyone a learner” philosophy that lies at the heart of ECHO, and which has been so important through the pandemic for our Hospice Sector.

You will become a member of an extended ECHO community throughout the UK and beyond.  Our values are at the heart of everything we do, we work in collaboration, with compassion, are inclusive, innovative and knowledgeable.

The established ECHO team will support the candidate, including the Programme Director, Programme Manager and our London based clinical co-ordinator.  As 2022 is set to be another year of growth for Project ECHO within Hospice UK’s strategic vision, the Project Support Officer will be a key member of our team going forward and making this vision a reality.

Details of the role can be found in the job description and person specification.
