Coping with Professional Grief workshop

This practical and interactive workshop is for people managing and supporting frontline staff who may frequently experience loss in their roles.

This includes professionals working in healthcare, social care, hospices or care homes.

 Aims of the training

  • Understand what professional grief is, and how it may impact an individual or workplace
  • Offer guidance for supporting your team, and yourself
  • Highlight support that is available

By the end of this workshop you'll be able to:

  • Explain the difference between professional grief and other forms of grief
  • Explain and recognise the impact of professional grief on an employee and the workplace
  • Identify ways to support employees and teams who are exposed to frequent loss
  • Find and signpost further support

Join the Compassionate Employers team on Wednesday 11 October 2023 at 10.00hrs-12.30hrs for the interactive virtual workshop for just £90 + VAT per person (£108 in total).

Please note the spaces are limited to 20 participants, once we have reached this capacity, we will have a waiting list for an alternative date based on interest.

By purchasing a ticket, or multiple tickets, to a Hospice UK event, you accept and agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.

  1. Payment in full must be made at the time of booking
  2. Tickets are refundable up to 48 hours before the event
  3. Bookings via the website may be paid by credit/debit card. Alternatively, please email compassionateemployers@hospiceuk.org if you wish to pay by BACS or invoice
  4. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you will ensure any attendees will act with integrity, respect and dignity during the workshop and will not do anything to bring Hospice UK into disrepute
  5. If the workshop is cancelled by Hospice UK, we will look to reschedule the workshop and your ticket will be automatically transferred unless you request a refund
  6. Hospice UK may terminate the booking if you are in breach of any of the above terms and conditions

We will use all reasonable knowledge and expertise to ensure the smooth and uninterrupted running of the workshop in its online format. If we experience any technical fault which affects part or all of the workshop, and/or which necessitates its cancellation or termination, the decision as to whether to reimburse the ticket price and/or to reschedule will be at our sole discretion.
