Job description

St Catherine’s Hospice is a respected local charity providing specialist hospice care alongside statutory service partners (GPs, District nursing etc) across West Sussex and East Surrey.

We have recently set in place a new specialist palliative and end of life care service model and are seeking to develop this further by building income opportunities and value arising from the NHS Long Term Plan (published July 2025). Along with all hospices, we plan to reinforce our funding through our traditional methods and also through innovation and commercialism. The Finance and IT Director will therefore play a leading role in providing sound financial support and advice to secure our future.

Are you a Finance professional with experience of charity accounting, IT and senior leadership? Are you enthusiastic, innovative/commercial and highly motivated while able to operate collaboratively at a senior level? This post is offered on a full time, Fixed Term Contract, working 37.5 hours per week (flexibility will be considered).
