About this challenge

One of the Seven Wonders of the World, The Great Wall of China has to be the ultimate building project the world has ever known, and provides the backdrop for our fundraising trek. Constructed by human hands over 2000 years ago, it stretches across the hilly region with long spurs and watch-towers often disappearing into the mist. This trek is very varied but demanding, as you pass through woodland and terraced farmland, and follow the contours on the beautiful hills and mountains in remote areas north of Beijing. You will follow old sections of the Great Wall, as well as restored section of smooth flagstones and lots of steps.

This is an open challenge organised by Discover Adventure, so you'll be sharing the experience with like-minded adventurers supporting a variety of charities. It's a fantastic opportunity to meet new people while taking on an unforgettable challenge together.

Ideal for anyone seeking a rewarding challenge, regardless of experience. All you need is determination, commitment and a sense of adventure.
