About this event

Experience the electric atmosphere of the York 10K, one of Yorkshire’s most popular road races. Starting and finishing near York Racecourse, this fast, flat course takes you through the heart of the historic city, passing iconic landmarks including York Minster, Clifford’s Tower and the ancient city walls.

With thousands of runners, incredible crowd support and a fantastic community spirit, the York 10K offers an unforgettable race-day experience. Whether you're aiming for a personal best, taking on your first 10K or simply running for a great cause, this scenic and beginner-friendly event is the perfect challenge

Sign up for this charity event today and join the community fighting to make sure no one misses out on the end-of-life care they need. Hospice UK are the national champion for hospices, and we fight every day to make sure that hospice care is available to all who need it, for now and forever.

This is a charity race place, and everything you raise will help us to support the 200+ hospices we represent across the UK. They do everything they can for children and adults living with long-term illness, or approaching the end of their lives. By taking on this extraordinary challenge for Hospice UK you'll help us ensure everyone affected by death, dying and bereavement gets the care and support they need, when they need it. 

If you've been lucky enough to secure your own place in the York 10K, we'd love to welcome you.
There is no minimum sponsorship if you have your own place, but aim high and you'll be amazed at what you can achieve. All you have to do is link your entry to Hospice UK and we'll be in touch to say hello and provide your fundraising pack.
