We are delighted to welcome Aviva to Compassionate Employers

Aviva, the UK’s leading Insurance, Wealth & Retirement business, has joined Compassionate Employers, a workplace support programme from Hospice UK that helps support employees facing bereavement, grief and caring responsibilities.

Compassionate Employers runs a comprehensive annual assessment and recommendation process to provide specific feedback on support for employees. Since joining the programme, Aviva have been awarded a Gold Award. Compassionate Employers will now work with Aviva to build on and strengthen existing employee support through leader training, as well as advice and support for leaders and colleagues.

By joining Compassionate Employers, Aviva is further supporting its employees across the UK who may face experiences of death, grief and caring responsibilities that affect aspects of our everyday lives, including at work.

Compassionate Employers can help everyone – from employees, managers, and HR teams - to feel confident and empowered to support their staff if they experience caring responsibilities, grief or bereavement, or are impacted by a terminal illness diagnosis.
