Hospice UK responds to the Northern Ireland Executive on hospice funding

Yesterday, the Northern Ireland Executive, through Finance Minister Conor Murphy, announced £6.75 million for local hospices to support them with the current financial challenges they are facing.



Hospice UK CEO Tracey Bleakley says, "Hospice UK is delighted with the Northern Ireland Executive and Conor Muprhy’s announcement to provide £6.75milion of vital support for hospices in Northern Ireland.



"This will mean a range of end of life services within hospices themselves and out in the community can continue to be delivered to people and their families during the next stages of the COVID-19 response."
