Free Social Media Book Giveaway as part of Dying Matters Awareness Week (Competition running on Facebook and Instagram from 27 April 2022 to 5pm on 6 May 2022)

For a chance to WIN a free paperback copy of “Funerals Your Way - A Person Centred Approach to Planning a Funeral” then please “like” and “comment” on our Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/FullCircleFuneralsPartnerinAltrincham/posts/14…) or Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/p/Cc2p24-KyQW/) post before 5 pm on Friday 6th May.

This year's @dyingmatters Awareness Week runs from 2-6 May. The week is designed to get our communities talking about dying and grief so that everyone can be #InAGoodPlace when they die – whatever that means for them. It’s by talking, and by sharing stories, that we can remove the taboo and stigma that surround these topics. We can also better understand what’s happening in our communities so that political and healthcare leaders know what is needed to make end of life care accessible to everyone.

It is to celebrate this week that we are giving away a copy of our funeral self-help book. If you want to express your wishes, or talk to someone you know about their wishes, then it will be a helpful tool.

Let’s talk about death and dying, so that everyone can die #InAGoodPlace, no matter who they are. Join the Dying Matters movement today.

And don’t forget about our event with Janet Howkins, a Memorial Artist from @stepinthepicture. We will be welcoming Janet to our service for a live demonstration on Wednesday 4th May, 10 am – 12 pm.

Janet will be demonstrating her botanical relief workshops. Using clay Janet will discuss the role of art and creativity in grief and bereavement and explain the significance of memorials, sharing the many different options available. Please pop in and join us (23 Ashley Road Altrincham) for a cup of tea and a chat with Janet on 4th May 10 am – 12 pm.
