This summer's festival of football is also about inspiring everyone to get a little bit more active and enjoy the great outdoors. And for patients receiving hospice care there’s no exception.
Hospice care is all about making every moment matter and helping people with a terminal illness to live as fully as they can for the precious time they have left.
From taking part in activities from gardening and tai chi to physiotherapy, rehabilitative therapy helps patients to keep mobile. Whilst you’re getting active and raising money, our volunteers are also getting active with those people receiving hospice care, like Polly.
Thank you again for everything you do. You are helping more than 200,000 people with a terminal illness, as well as their families every single year.
