Polly's story

Polly, as a marathon runner, knows how important it is to stay active.

Polly Marshall, an occupational therapist
Part of Polly’s role as a volunteer at the hospice is to help with the weekly physiotherapy group.

Tailored exercises help patients strengthen their muscles and build their stamina, which is vital to
keeping independence. An added bonus is the social side, as classes such as these bring together groups of people and many patients form strong friendships.
