Community Development

How can you discover the strengths and assets in your community – the people and stories which can shape a shared approach to building "Communities Who Are Prepared to Help"? Hospice UK has launched a toolkit which supports care providers to listen, discover and learn from their communities.

Dorothy House Hospice Community Development

These webpages have been designed to help you get started as you have identified that the community where you live, work or play could be more involved in being caring about the people who form part of that community; people who may be lonely, bereft, at the end of life or those caring for someone who has a life-limiting illness. The toolkit also provides you with a session plan and supporting facilitator's notes.

Further information and resources can also be found on the Source4Networks website.
