Hospice UK is the national charity for hospice and palliative care. We work to ensure all adults and children living with a terminal or life-shortening illness receive the care and support they need, when they need it.

Collectively hospices in the UK provide vital care to more than 200,000 people with terminal or life-limiting illnesses every year, as well as providing support for their loved ones. We work closely with them to support their vital work and to create a stronger voice for hospice care.

Our highlights 2018

Our aim is to make sure that every child and adult with a life-limiting or terminal condition gets the very best care, no matter who they are, where they are or why they are ill, and we believe hospices are critical to achieving this.

In 2018 we continued our 5-year strategy to widen access to hospice and palliative care across the UK, and Hospice Care Week was bigger than ever.
