Clinical Team Lead (Maternity cover)

Your new role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic leader to work alongside our Consultant Leadership Team to coordinate, lead and manage the daily activities and services for the people and families using our services. This post will provide a crucial role in supporting staff and driving forward our new model of care.

The Single Point of Contact Team co-ordinates all new referrals to our services (with the exception of our bereavement service). It acts a front line to support patient’s, staff and families in Care homes and will accept and coordinate the visiting our small Choose home service 

Please note that this role is being offered as a 15 Month, Maternity cover post.

To succeed in this role

• You will have proven palliative care experience with relevant qualifications and experience of working at Band 7 or equivalent level in the following related areas: general medical, neurology, orthopedic, elderly care, respiratory, oncology.
• You will bring with you a wealth of experience mentoring and managing individuals and teams, and possess advanced communication skills and presentation skills, both oral and written.
• You will be a natural leader, with the ability to motivate, develop and encourage others to be the best they can be with a high degree of resilience.
• It is important that you are able to work in a multi-disciplinary team, and maintain a high level of emotional resilience while working under pressure.
