At Prospect Hospice we are passionate about providing our employees with a supportive and engaging environment. This will include planning and delivering of clinical skills training, overseeing clinical placements and being the named assessor of practical skills competencies for nurses, healthcare assistants and volunteers, ensuring that training is delivered in a way that best suits individual needs.
You will also work closely with the hospice’s wider learning and development team to ensure a holistic and consistent approach to meeting the competency and development needs of our workforce - as well as collaborating on the development of specialist courses for external marketing and income generation to external agencies such as care homes and other healthcare practitioners.
A registered nurse with a teaching and assessing qualification recognised by the NMC, you will have experience of working within palliative or end of life care, with extensive experience of teaching, mentoring and developing clinical staff. You will be adept at providing feedback on performance to mentors, educators, students and staff and strongly committed to quality improvement, inclusive and innovative practice and your own personal development. We are seeking someone who can develop creative approaches to the delivery of learning and the development of a learning culture.
