Charge Nurse

As a Charge Nurse on one of our 14 bedded in-patient wards, you will be caring for those with advanced disease requiring Specialist Palliative, Respite and End of Life Care. This includes assessment of patient and family needs in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team. You will have a true passion for nursing, putting the patient at the heart of everything you do. You will have proven leadership experience and be able to provide safe, effective, high quality care that is tailored to the needs of each individual.

You must be a Registered Nurse with capability of delivering learning experiences, supervising, assessing students and new staff. St Joseph’s Hospice supports the professional and personal development of its staff. We will provide appropriate individualised training and supervision to support you in this role.
