The decision to cancel has come from London Marathon Events as a safety precaution to try and prevent the spread of coronavirus. They have not taken the decision to cancel lightly, and it has been made with the health and safety of everyone involved in mind. The care of our runners, staff and volunteers is always our main priority.
We understand that this is disappointing news for you, and we share that disappointment. We know how much effort you have put into your training and fundraising and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this news causes.
Please allow us a few weeks to complete the necessary admin and discuss next steps with the race organisers. We’ll be in touch in mid-June for a further update.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.
