It can be difficult to know what is covered by a hospice's organisational indemnity and what is required from a doctor's personal medical indemnity - particularly for doctors who are training or working part time in a hospice.
We worked with PIB Insurance Brokers to provide our members with guidance on this issue.

Following a session about medical indemnity at our National Conference in 2023, we worked with PIB Insurance Brokers to develop guidance for hospices and hospice doctors across the UK.
This document includes advice for doctors on personal indemnity, and guidance for hospices on organisational indemnity.
