Jackie Tritton trained as a registered nurse in 1981 and is qualified in both palliative care and oncology nursing.

Jackie worked at the Royal Marsden Hospitals and was a District Nurse and a Macmillan Nurse, working in the community for over twelve years.

Later she became the lead nurse for Cancer and Palliative care in Luton, working across both hospital and community settings and was appointed the Mount Vernon Cancer Nurse Director for one of the 32 national cancer networks. Jackie has a keen interest in child bereavement and was one of the co-founders of Chums which is now a Bedfordshire wide charity providing Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Services for Children and Young People.

She was the Director of Patient Services at PHC from 2012 before stepping into the role of Interim CEO in 2020 to lead on the merger discussion with PHC and Rennie Grove (RG). Since the merger announcement Jackie has been appointed as the Chief Clinical Officer for the new organisation leading with responsibility for the delivery of the Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care Patient/ Clinical services across West Herts and Buckinghamshire.
