Forging Connections with Young People: MCF grant enables transition project
The Masonic Charitable Foundation funded a project between Barnsley Hospice and Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice, to create a structured pathway for young people transitioning to adult hospice care in Barnsley.
The collaborative working approach they've created has become a blueprint for adult and children's hospices across the UK.

Mariyam's story: MCF grant supports children’s hospice communities
After the death of one of her twins shortly after birth, Mariyam needed the support of Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, where she received ongoing support on her own terms.
This film shares Mariyam’s story, and how a Masonic Charitable Foundation Grant enabled the hospice to expand their engagement with the wide and diverse communities in West Yorkshire.

What the Masonic Charitable Foundation have funded
The Masonic Charitable Foundation, in partnership with Hospice UK, has distributed more than £3 million since 2017 as project and education grants to hospices.

Professional Development Grants
As well as funding projects at hospices, Masonic Charitable Foundation supports a range of hospice staff via professional development grants, which funds further specialist study and training.
