If you hear or see something that you relate to - from someone who has been through a comparable experience or has felt similar emotions - then this can help you to feel less alone.
That’s why we need to hear from you. We’re looking for stories to feature on our channels – our website and social media.
We are also looking for stories to help us understand exactly what is happening for people at the end of life, and who have been bereaved. At Dying Matters, we are working to widen access to end of life care and bereavement support services, and to make sure that everyone – no matter who they are – should receive the best possible care at the end of their life.
Your story will help us to understand where people are being let down and how we can make it better for all.
We may contact you to ask if you’d be happy for us to use it on our website or social media, as part of a policy report or fundraising appeal, or perhaps in the media.
We may also get in touch to see if you would like to be filmed or interviewed about your experiences.
We will ask for your consent when you submit the story and we would never consider using your story if you weren’t comfortable with it.
Unfortunately we can’t guarantee that we will publish your story, but we will do our best to. We may also have to edit content, but if we do so significantly, we will email to confirm the changes with you first before publishing it.
