Hospice UK's National Conference 2026 will take place in Liverpool from 16 – 18 November.

The flagship event for for people in all roles working in hospices and in palliative and end of life care, our 2026 National Conference will take place at the Liverpool Experience Campus (formerly the ACC) in Liverpool from 16-18 November.

Bringing people together from across the sector, this year's National Conference will be guided by our 3 key strategic themes: equity, sustainability, quality.

This year's programme explores the breadth and depth of care, support and innovation our sector brings every single day, from funding and sustainability, research, the green agenda, workforce, governance, retail, policy and influencing and the impact of technology on patient experience and care.

Sessions announced so far look at topics such as:

  • workforce planning
  • AI in health
  • how research can inform policy
  • environmental sustainability
  • the benefits of collaboration on data and influencing
  • income generation strategy
  • social deprivation and hospice care
  • unity in a polarised political landscape

Alongside these plenary and parallel sessions, you can join colleagues from across the sector for workshops, creative drop-ins and networking opportunities.

There are 3 booking options available:

  • Delegate registration: for people who want to book to attend in person in Liverpool and are booking for 2 or less people
  • Online registration: for people who want to book to attend the live-streamed sessions online only
  • Group booking registration: for people who want to book for 3 or more people to attend in person in Liverpool. Please note, the group registration will allow you to register your whole group in one booking and to take advantage of our offer – Buy 3 full conference places, get 1 full conference place free.

Bookings are open to anyone working for any end of life care provider or related non-profit organisation.  If you have any questions about making your booking, please email the Conference team.

Any commercial, profit-making organisations or consultancies wishing to attend should contact our commercial team to find out about opportunities available for them to attend.

How to get there

Liverpool Experience Campus is a short taxi or bus ride away from Liverpool Lime Street station and its direct services to London that take a little over two hours. Many bus routes serve the bus station at the Liverpool ONE retail development, just a five-minute walk from the venue.

A big thank you to everyone who supported the call for papers for Hospice UK’s national conference – whether you submitted an abstract, offered mentorship, or joined the review panel.
