Amanda Cheesley

Amanda trained in the Army becoming a Registered Nurse in 1981. She also has qualifications in district nursing, end of life care and management.

She has worked extensively in the NHS and in the social care sector over the last 35 years in various capacities. 

As the professional lead on Long Term Conditions and End of Life Care she represents nursing and the RCN on numerous national groups relating to end of life and long term conditions including the latest End of Life care Audit and previously on the Leadership Alliance, the National Choice Offer and Ambitions for Palliative and End of Life Care. 

She is also a non-executive director of Sirona Care and Health and an executive coach.
